Each year at DEWE, we bring together some of the most passionate and creative voices in the freediving and water-loving community, and we’re always looking for new presenters to join the lineup.
From sunrise to sunset, Deep End Weekend offers opportunities to share your skills, stories, and expertise. Our programming includes both in-water sessions (like technique coaching, safety refreshers, or underwater specialties) and evening workshops (think skills breakdowns, environmental talks, community storytelling, guided training, photo showcases, or anything else that makes people think, laugh, grow, or connect).
We encourage a wide range of topics, as long as your workshop ties into Florida, ecology, the water, and/or freediving. That could mean science, storytelling, art, adventure, conservation, wellness, training, or even niche hobbies that bring water people together. Whether you’re a professional coach, a researcher, a seasoned diver, or someone with a fresh perspective, we want to hear from you.
This isn’t a speaker panel — it’s a participatory festival. We’re looking for dynamic, engaging, and interactive sessions that reflect the DEWE vibe: confident, inclusive, a little daring, and full of energy. You don’t have to be a professional presenter, you just need to know your stuff and know how to connect with people.
Requirements to present:
Must be knowledgeable in your field.
Have your own laptop / tablet to hook up to projector.
If confirmed as a presenter, provide a written outline of what you plan to teach / present on before deadline.
